North vs South Cyber Tourney
A cyber fishing tournament that benefits a wonderful charity. It pits Northerners, commonly referred to as 'yankees' or 'norfers' againstthe truest gentlemen and ladies of the sport, the Southerners, or Sowfers as THEY call us.
What are we doing?
These pages are dedicated to a "Cyber-Tournament" that is taking place on the The Leper Colony Home Page between the North and the South. The tournament is just for fun and it's between members of the Leper Colony. Rules, Rosters, Background Info, and "Cyber-Tournament" Fish Pics can be found by clicking on the the links on the left side of the web pages.
This "Cyber Tournament" is designed to bring CyberFishermen/Women together in a little friendly competition, learn more about our regional fisheries, and make new friends. We hope you continue to follow this "Cyber Tournament" throughout the year. And, if you are interested in joining next year, please let us know.
How does it work?
Well, simply put.... we just go fishing. When a fish is caught, we put it on the scale, take a picture, and then send that picture into the website. Scoring is based on the current state record and some math is involved but, if you want to see that formula, you can go to the rules page.
